Your October Instagram posts are ready

Hey team,

We put together four Instagram carousels for you this month. Quick note on what they are, because they’re a little different from the posts you might expect from us.

Why these posts are different

Most of your followers are current members, past members, and people who did a trial.

Promo posts don’t do much for them, and if nobody engages, Instagram stops showing your posts to anyone, including the new people you want to reach.

So these four posts are built for your members first. Each one is useful, relatable, or asks an easy question.

When your members like it, comment, or share it to their story, two things happen.

That's the best proof your fall campaign could ask for, and you didn't have to write any of it.

The four posts, when to post them, and the captions

1

Wins the Scale Can't Measure

Seven wins that have nothing to do with a number. The last slide asks members to share their own win this month.

The scale moves slowly. Life moves first. Drop one win from this month that has nothing to do with a number. We’ll be in the comments cheering.

Opens Google Drive. Your slides are in the PNG folder.

2

Why What Worked at 35 Stopped Working

A short explainer for your members over 45 on why the old “eat less, do more cardio” plan stops working and why strength matters now. The last slide asks them to send it to a friend.

Caption

If you’re over 45 and feel like your body stopped listening, you are not imagining it. The rules changed. The good news is the new rules are simpler: get strong, eat enough, recover well. Tag the friend you’d want doing this with you.

3

The Candy Bowl Game Plan

Five simple moves for Halloween night, written so nobody feels lectured. The last slide asks for the one candy they’d never trade away.

This is the week members tell us they “fell off.” You didn’t. You had candy. The plan above is what we tell our own members, and it fits on one screenshot. Save it for Saturday.

How to Keep Showing Up When It's Dark at 5

Clocks go back Sunday, November 1, and that’s when the “I’ll go tomorrow” season starts. Five ways to keep the routine going. The last slide asks morning crew or evening crew.

Clocks go back this Sunday. That’s when the “I’ll go tomorrow” season starts. Pick one move from the slides and do it this week. Then tell us: are you a morning person or an after-work person?

How to post them

1

Upload the slides in order. Each post is 9 or 10 slides. Slide 1 is the cover, the last slide is the question.

2

Copy and paste the caption exactly as written above. No need to add anything to it.

3

Do not add your price or program name to the slides or the caption. These posts work because they don’t sell. Your link in bio does that job.

4

Reply to every comment, especially in the first hour. Even a quick “Love this, Sarah!” counts. This is the part that makes the post go further.

5

When a member shares it to their story and tags you, reshare it to your story. Takes five seconds and shows new followers that your members are real.

6

Before the first post goes up, check your Instagram profile. The link in your bio should go to one of three places: your fall campaign sales page, your Home Link Hub, or the home page we built for you.

These posts will bring new people to your profile, and that link is where they go next. If you don’t have a Home Link Hub or a home page yet, message Stewart in Slack. We can get one set up for you fast.

One favor

The first post goes up October 12.

If you post it and get comments, send a screenshot to your channel.

We’d love to see which post wins so we can make November’s set even better.
